In Drasnice in Hrvatska it is about ten degrees warmer in summer compared to New Zealand, and on the beaches there are pebbles rather than sand, and also not many waves about. The delicate, silent ocean calmly relaxing on the pebbles.
If you listen carefully you might hear soft footsteps tapping on the ground, tap, tap, tap on the rock road.
Outside you will see very sweaty people, and a few people watering their flowers.
The bread in the shop smells divine,when you look around at the wrecked brick houses, they just look like big mountains of bricks on top of each other.
